Eastlake has plenty of places to eat and not many that are actually built around fresh food. We’re 4.6 miles west, straight down Otay Lakes Road — about ten minutes from Eastlake Village Marketplace, and less from Rolling Hills Ranch.
We should say plainly that we’re not in Eastlake. We’re a family-owned restaurant in Bonita, and a lot of our regulars make that ten-minute drive a few times a week. This page is to help you decide whether it’s worth yours.
4530 Bonita Rd, Bonita, CA 91902 · (619) 470-7300
The drive
Otay Lakes Road runs almost the whole way. From Eastlake Village Marketplace it’s about ten minutes; from Eastlake Greens, Eastlake Trails or Rolling Hills Ranch, usually a little less. We’re in the Bonita Centre with a free parking lot and free street parking, so the last two minutes aren’t spent looking for a space.
If ten minutes is nine too many, we’re on DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, and all three deliver to Eastlake.
Three reasons people make the drive
Breakfast that’s still being served at 4 p.m.
The full breakfast menu runs from open until close, seven days a week. That matters more than it sounds — after a late soccer practice or a school run that went sideways, chilaquiles at dinner time is a normal order here. Chilaquiles $13.99, Mango House Omelet $11.99, avocado toast $12.99, waffles $11.99, house oatmeal $9.49.
One order that feeds everybody
Eastlake families tend to arrive with a mix of requirements. We can put vegan, keto, gluten-free and a nine-year-old on the same tray. The kids’ menu covers ages 10 and under and every kids’ meal includes a fruit water and a bowl of fresh fruit. High chairs are available, and dogs are welcome inside as well as on the patio.
Bowls made when you order them
Açaí, pitaya, coconut and matcha bowls at $11.99, the açaí superfood bowl at $12.99, ahi tuna poke at $16.49 and the salmon keto bowl on cauliflower rice at $17.99. Every one blended or built to order — açaí that’s been sitting in a tub separates and goes icy, which is the difference you can taste.
What else is on the menu
Six salads from $11.99. Eight oven-toasted sandwiches, $11.99–$14.49, wraps at $12.99, burritos from $6.49. Rice bowls with chicken, salmon or teriyaki, $15.99–$16.99. Soups made from scratch. Twelve smoothies from $7.99, fourteen cold-pressed juices at $7.97, and ginger or wheatgrass shots at $4.49.
Vegan, keto and gluten-free
- Vegan as served: house oatmeal, Mango Mango salad, quinoa superfood salad, potato and soy chorizo burrito, açaí super food bowl, all fresh juices, most smoothies.
- Made vegan on request: chilaquiles, Mango’s avocado toast, California grill panini, veggie grille on ciabatta.
- Keto: keto toast, salmon keto bowl on cauliflower rice, Mediterranean keto salad, chicken Caesar keto salad, or any sandwich breadless in a lettuce wrap.
- Gluten-free: gluten-free bread for $1.65 on any sandwich, plus every bowl, salad, smoothie and juice.

Catering out to Eastlake
We cater to Eastlake offices and homes — ten minutes is nothing for a planned order, and bowls and wraps travel better than hot plates do. Call (619) 470-7300 with your headcount, timing and any dietary requirements and we’ll build it in one conversation rather than six emails.
One honest note: if you want poke for a group out in Eastlake, we’ll steer you toward the cooked salmon bowl instead. Same flavours, and raw fish and a ten-minute drive in a hot car aren’t friends.

Questions we get asked
How far is it from Eastlake?
About 4.6 miles and ten minutes from Eastlake Village Marketplace, almost all of it along Otay Lakes Road.
Do you deliver to Eastlake?
Yes — DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub all cover Eastlake. You can also order direct from us for pickup, which costs you less and supports a family-owned business rather than the apps.
Is it worth the drive with kids?
That’s your call, but we’re set up for it: kids’ menu for 10 and under with a fruit water and fresh fruit included, high chairs, a patio, and breakfast served all day so timing is never the problem.
Can I get açaí bowls near Eastlake without driving to Bonita?
There are closer options, and we’d rather be honest than pretend otherwise. What we’d say is that ours are blended to order with fruit cut fresh that morning, which is the part that usually decides it.
Do you take reservations for larger groups?
We don’t take reservations at all — we’re counter service and walk-in. For a large group or a catering order, call ahead on (619) 470-7300 and we’ll be ready for you.
